Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson for Breathers: A Zombie's Lament...

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson are in talks to star in upcoming film Breathers: A Zombie's Lament.


Produced by Diablo Cody, the movie billed as a romantic comedy with zombies.


Geoff LaTulippe is writing the screenplay, an adaptation of a 2009 novel by S.G. Browne.


Browne's novel follows the adventures of a man who discovers that he is not dead and must live among regular people.

    There aren't a lot of good zom-coms out there so I want it to work, but it could easily fail and the last Zombie film Cody worked on was terrible. I can see myself going to thing regardless though. Gordon Levitt is one of my favourite actors at the minute, Johannson is purty and not as bad an actress as people say and well I really really like Zombie films.
