Cillian Murphy has joined the cast of British thriller The Retreat.
The Inception star will join Thandie Newton in the film to be helmed by Alien Vs Predator editor Carl Tibbetts.
Murphy and Newton will star as a married couple who run across a biohazard-suited soldier while on vacation on a remote island. The soldier warns the couple about an airborne virus that has killed everyone on the mainland.
Carl Tibbetts will make his directorial debut on the project.
