Dormer joins cast of dramatic love story.
‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Tudors’ actress Natalie Dormer is set to star alongside James Fox (‘Effie,’ ‘Sherlock Holmes’), Irish actress Brenda Fricker (‘Cloudburst,’ ‘Albert Nobbs’) and Paul Nicholls (‘Holby City,’ ‘Eastenders’) in award winning writer and director Virginia Gilbert’s dramatic love story ‘A Long Way From Home.’
A drama about love and the rebirth of passion later in life, ‘A Long Way From Home’ follows Lesley and Doreen, a retired married couple whose passion is reignited after meeting young, attractive couple, Sally and Jack, on holidays in Nimes. Lesley and Sally strike up a profound relationship that will change both their lives.
Gilbert will make her feature directorial debut with the British-French co-production. Production kicked off over the weekend in Nimes.
