The story of George Mallory, an explorer obsessed with becoming the first climber to reach the top of Mount Everest, as told through letters to his wife, previously unseen photos, and film from 1924 as well as from the 1999 expedition that discovered Mallory’s body on Everest.

Production of indie comedy “Nailed,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel, has resumed in South Carolina after being shut down Friday by the Screen Actors Guild in a pay dispute.

SAG told its members not work Friday due to a lack of funds in accounts designated to pay actors for “Nailed,” directed by David O. Russell.

Kara Borie, a spokeswoman for the film confirmed Monday that shooting had resumed.
The film’s being financed by David Bergstein’s Capitol Films. Shooting started in mid-April in Columbia, S.C., and is due to conclude in the middle of June.

‘Nailed’ is centered on a woman from a small town who goes on a crusade for better health care after a nail’s accidentally shot into her head. Kristin Gore co-wrote the script with Russell.
