As you may have read on Facebook or Twitter earlier, Movies.ie picked up the award for BEST ENTERTAINMENT WEBSITE at the 2010 Irish Web Awards. Think of it as the Oscars but with even fancier dresses.
The glitzy event, hosted by DJ Rick O’Shea took place at The Mansion House in Dublin. Over 500 websites were nominated for the event and the results were selected by over 140 judges.
Other winners on the night include Irishtimes.com, Slate.ie, hostelworld.com and 98fm.ie
