The film tells the story of Max, a rambunctious and sensitive boy who feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. Max lands on an island where he meets mysterious and strange creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions. The Wild Things desperately long for a leader to guide them, just as Max longs for a kingdom to rule. When Max is crowned king, he promises to create a place where everyone will be happy. Max soon finds, though, that ruling his kingdom is not so easy and his relationships there prove to be more complicated than he originally thought.

i remember these books from a child great memories, good job here with the movie too
I was a bit disappointed, I think i would have enjoyed it more with the sound muted, the attempts at extracting a narrative out of the original children's classic didn't really work, which is disappointing because I am a big fan of Dave Eggers novels whom co wrote the script.
Ihave to be honest ..I found this movie so dull and felt no emotion through it..the best thing about it was the damn owls I couldnt stop laughing at them ...thats the only reason it gets three stars!
love this kind of films, brilliant.
Fun and heartwarming. Brilliant adaptation of the book.
One of my movies of the year, i was genuinely touched by this one. great voice acting and a fine turn by max records. thank you spike jonze!
Not impressed with this movie at all. Dont think it would be suitable for kids at all. Wouldnt even think it would be suitable for adults unless they read the book.
not much happens but it looks cool!
ok movie but expected better given the very positive reviews
Brilliant film. Would be suitable for kids and adults alike. Soundtrack is excellent.
