A return to form for Woody Allen after many years of mediocre films. Deserves the hype and Cruz deserved her Oscar. Extra credit to Rebecca Hall for actually managing to outshine Scarlett Johannson!

A clever movie. Plenty of laughs ad twists to keep you entertained. The music adds a lot to the movie.

Absolutely awful. A date movie. A distracting rarrative voice, seemingly used to put thoughts into character`s heads as if they were unable to think and the audience- too stupid to understand. No close caption to give any validity to the endless musings on love and beauty, too implausible in the first place. Predictable, poorly-crafted script. The ever-romance-conveying Spanish guitar strings are void of any feeling in this flick. I was more interested in poking my slush drink than payinga ttention to the screen. The only light is Penelope Cruz who brings her character to life, shocks and amuses you, fills the screen with her presence. A memorable performance, interrupting a substance-less cliched scene towards the end of the film. Cannot wait for `Broken Embraces` where every facet of Cruz`s talent has been used by Almadovar`s genius.
