"Twilight" is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Wash., she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn't have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella's soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance. To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for--a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Pure crap. The best way I can sum up this movie is by saying that it is like Buffy the vampire slayer without the fighting, good characters, humour & fun.

It doesn't stay true to the book at all so fans may be disappointed! Kristen Stewart's acting is awful! Her performance is dull, lifeless and weak and she fails in creating any sort of depth to her character. Pattinson does an okay job considering this is his first big movie break. Having said that, some of teh surrounding cast are good, although there are few stellar performances. Having said that, it is actually a very enjoyable movie that definitely deserves a look!! And if it's not your cup of tea you can just drool over Edward Cullen :P

I really didnt think i'd like this movie, dont get me wrong i love vamp's, blood etc just not into the love story. I honestly thought this would just be a load of bunnies and flowers with a fang or two. But i was wrong although it doesn't have mush gore it still kept me in my seat till the end and I will be watching the next installment. one to watch :)
