Unexpectedly brilliant movie about 3 boxers at a Dublin boxing club. It has zero budget but is all the more engaging for it. This is real Dublin, I can see the film being looked on by future generations as both an archive of Dublin and of modern film-making. See it now.

without bordering on cheesey this film gives an emotional insight into the struggles, thrilling highs and throat drying lows faced by the three young boxers both in and outside the ring and their coaches. a great debut by Liam Nolan and Ross Whitaker that inspires hope for home grown film making.

Really enjoyable well told story of 3 boxers in a dublin club. It never gets over sentimental and you really care about the characters as you get to know them. Well worth a trip to the lighthouse!
