I went not expecting much to be honest and thankfully that was the case as this really didn't deliver much. I at least thought with a cast this good the acting would be good but that was not the case. The cast just seemed to turn up and deliver their lines from what was a pretty woeful script. It is way too long, could easily shave 20 minutes off and even then it would probably feel long. I probably would have fallen asleep but they turned the air conditioning way down in the cinema, possibly in an attempt to keep people concious. I would strongly advise avoiding this.

I went in expecting pure shite and to be honest i found it quite enjoyable... purely because i ignored all the niggly little things wrong about it...its enjoyable but just made me want to play assassins creed

I saw this movie at the worldwide london permiere, i enjoyed it, maybe it was all the athmosphere, and the stars were there, but it is a family movie and the kids will really like it. Plenty of action.

As far as computer game movie adaptations go this is one of the better ones but it doesnt quite hit the mark. I thought that the action scenes were pretty good and that the story was ok but nothing special. Gyllenhaal was fine as the lead although I wasnt sure about the accent. Gemma Anderton is ok, shes great to look at and to be honest I wish she wore less in movie! Maybe her dress could get ripped or something...anyway my main gripe with the movie is that the dialogue is a bit of a let down. There are a few humourous bits (Molina provides much of the comic relief)but I only tittered once and I'm quite easy to make laugh. I just felt like it wasnt quite clicking as a really good action/adventure film should. The relationship between Gyllenhaal & Arterton wants to be like a Han Solo/Princess Leia one but the banter between them doesnt really pull it off. All that said it is alright (could have been much worse) and is worth a viewing especially if your a fan of the game.

I thought it was funny and Jake was as always charming, it does have a few "this was so based on a game" moments...but its a good family film, with both action and humour thrown in!

Awful awful film. Story, script, characters all bad. Do yourself a favor, don't go and see this, and if you vote with your feet maybe they will stop making any auld crap they think will make them a few more quid. Awful!

Prince of Persia did its job, I want to play the game again. Not the best film ever made, but it exceeded my [low] expectations quite nicely. One of the better game-to-movie adaptations I've seen.

Good popcorn flick, but Clash Of Titans around same time was better.

Yet another game adaptation with a deep mythology diluted to a very average summer flick. Some very nice set pieces are built around a generic framework. Also for a persian film there are hardly any in it. Think the term for it is "whitewashing"

Average. Doesn't quite do the games justice though.

I wonder can the prince still find it difficult to climb up walls if not positioned exactly in front of them??
