Didn't ever want to watch this as I hate Abba's songs. However it was a sunny day in a park in Dun Laoighre and it was on between Wall-E and Juno at the free movies in the park so I thought it nice here, what the hell. I hate to admit it wasn't as bad as I thought, certainly has some funny moments (Pierce Brosnan's attempts to sing anyone, Brosnan is a great actor but he should stick to the day job :p ). It's worth a look if you like this kind of thing but wouldn't really be my cup of whiskey :)

Wish I could have liked it more as I do like ABBA, but it's just okay. Some of the singing I just couldn't stand. Definitely one for the ladies!!

What a great feel good movie! A gret story, brilliant cast and some great sing-long tunes-whatmore could you ask for? It was a bitlike looking at the stage version transported directly onto thebig screen without them taking advantage of the extra dimensions/possibilities of the big screen but i guess this also means that the story stayed simple and was still the main focus. Go see it for a feel good movie!

Check your brain (and balls if you have them) at the door. If you enjoy ABBA before you see this film, you will not after. And if you don't enjoy ABBA, then find something better to do with the 100+(?!!) minutes of your life you will save by avoiding this like the plague. Rearrange your sock drawer. Clean behind the fridge. Scrape the dead skin off the soles of your feet. Then be happy that you didn't have to endure Pierce Brosnan undoing any good he did his entire career by letting his voice accompany music...
