Despite the religious trappings, Legion is an old fashioned shoot-'em-up with satisfying gunfights, a pacey plot and barely a dull moment. Its not gonna winover the mass audience but its easy watching and a bit of Dumb fun. Also it has the bitchenest granny ever on screen!

I didn't know what to expect from this, the trailer looked great but everyone had given it 1 star reviews on here, but as always I wanted to make up my own mind so went along. Firstly I have to say this movie seemed very confused as to wheter it wanted to take itself seriously or not. Not long in I decided okay way too many one liners for it to be taking itself seriously so I'll look at it that way and was actually enjoying it well enough, it was nicely paced, good performaces, nice and broodily shot, good special effects and some really nice one liners but then in the last 15 minutes the script writers seemed to decide they wanted to make a serious movie again which I found really annoying. I wouldn't say avoid this, but don't pay to see it in the cinema. It has certainly got some good moments and showed some promise for a good chunk of it's 100 minutes, however I think it turned out to be a substandard Prophecy in the end, shame as it had real potential.

I can see why people are giving this low scores...however I am going to be a bit more generous and give it 3. My reason is that while its not the most impressive piece of cinematic artwork i've ever seen, it was definitely a unique and interesting story line. It wasn't a prequel, or a sequel, or a spin-off or a remake, or a conversion or anything like that...it was a new(ish) idea and I have to say I quite liked it as far as action films go. Yes it could have been better in places, definitley more diagloue and fighting scenes needed, especially between angels... anywayyyy 3 stars, if you dont expect too much you might finding yourself enjoying it. Thought Quaid were terrible in this, and the end scene was just far too full of cheese for my liking...plus how the f**k did they get up so high on that mountain, they were only climbing for 20 seconds!! o_O

Pretty blooming poor flick, this is basically Terminator crossed with the Nativity and the apocalypse … the true apocalypse however is the movie itself. Don’t be fooled by the trailer which looked pretty good, the movie has some decent moments but they are scarce and few. Wait for the DVD people!
