On the fringes of Dublin, Kylie and Dylan - two pre-teen kids - live in a suburban housing estate devoid of life, colour and the prospects of escape. Kylie lives with five other sisters, her overworked mother and in constant dread of her uncle's unwelcome visits. Next door, Dylan lives in the shadow of an abusive alcoholic father and the memory of an elder brother who ran away from home two years previously. After a violent altercation with his father, Dylan runs away from home and Kylie decides to join him. Together they make their way to the magical night time lights of inner city Dublin, to search for Dylan's brother, and in the hope of finding, through him, the possibility of a new life.

Great chemistry between the main characters and a very simple, easy to follow storyline. I liked it a lot, then again I'm from Dublin. Anyone not from Ireland may not get some of the humor and may even think of Ireland as an awful place as a result but I don't care. It's a film that stuck very much to it's Dublin roots and made no effort to hide the ugly side of Dublin. It took balls to make this film and it payed off big time. The result is a film that will shake things up for Ireland and indie irish movies. Something not seen since the days of the Commitments. Classic Dublin movie! Well done :)

Some good laughs, dark look at Dublin by night.Stereotpyes from Tallaght. Some great lines, such as "Jaysus, ya f**king eejit!" Try and guess how many places you know it in!

Was'nt a bad movie, not normally what i would go to but enjoyed it. will find yourself laughing in parts but then will suddenly slap you in the face with reality.you'll find yourself playing spot the location in Dublin.is farly short though. Both the kids play good part but Kelly O'Neill is good little actress.

It was pretty good. These kind of films are reliant on the kids being good and thankfully they are in this

Nice little Irish movie, perhaps suffering from over-hype at the moment. Its very short, even so some scenes are slightly drawn out for no reason, for example the barge ride into town. It does have some nice touches and the kids are great.
