This was unbeleivably crap...exceptionally bad. I kinda liked the first, but this was jut plain BAD. Silly characters and a very poor story where nothing seemed to happen at all and then suddenly it's all rushed at the end. Messy and all over the place. There are some nice visuals in the movie, but not much of a departure from Pan's Its a pity, it seems del Toro and big budget holywood do not mix. No Stars for this review.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear........after a near flawless career so far Mr Del Toro inflicts this turd on his growing army of fans. I expected a kick ass block buster but instead got a warped double love story. Very, very disappointing!

A very enjoyable film, if not quite as good as the first. Let down by having a second half not as good as the first. Some very funny moments though, and overall a cut above most summer fare.

Very enjoyable film. Lighthearted entertainment that is better than the first. Del Toro is in his element with the bigger budget. He can create the world he wants to.

I loved the first Hellboy, felt a bit let down by this one ... sad as the visuals are stunning and so much improved from the first, funny in places but the editing is choppy and excessive and takes you out of the moment. The handling of the romance as in Del Toro's Blade 2 and the first Hellboy feels just a tad ham fisted. All in all enjoyed it, but not as much as I had hoped.
