Based on a chilling true story, Lionsgate's "The Haunting in Connecticut" charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. The whole time all I could think was Amityville, Amityville, Amityville so I say if you enjoyed the Amityville story you might like this. Its not the worst horror I've seen but not scary at all either just a bit gory.

The story wasn't anything special but the jumps were good and the CGI is really good. If you're looki' for a bit of a scare this might be worth a shot.

Creeeepy!! If you're looking for a creepy scary movie this is a good one to see. Storyline is fairly good for a horror. Not a huge amount of scares but the scares that there are are very jumpy that you may scream out loud!
