100% of raters want to see this movie
Two Boston private-eyes risk everything to investigate a missing child in a territory of broken families, bitter cops and whacked out ex-cons.
Our critics review will be added soon.
Very good film. Brilliantly directed, especially considering it was Ben Afflecks directorial debut.
The plot keeps you intrigued to the very end and this is supported by some very very good acting.
Would recommend that anyone who likes a film that raises questions and forces you to think should check this out, sooner rather
Very good. Casey Affleck is excellent
Of all the movies on screen and / or dvd, I have seen recently, this is bar far the best and most impressive.
Excellent cast performance, especially Casey Afflek in the lead role and a superb directorial debut by Ben Afflek.
All in all, without giving anything away, the movies keeps moving and the story line grows, involving the audience in decisions, in an almost interactive fashion, culminating in a lingering post movie ethical thought process, would you do the same, were you in their sh
Unexpectedly brilliant film, I hated Mystic River, so when I read that this was by the same writer I was a bit apprehensive but director Ben Affleck has created a modern masterpiece. Thanks for the tickets Movies.ie, I wouldn't have seen this otherwise and I'm really glad I have!
Wow truly excellent film. Basically a thriller, but with very deep characters. Casey Affleck and his supporting cast are fantastic. But the film is just so intelligent, refusing to take the easy way out and regularly pulling the story in refreshingly unconventional ways. A fascinating watch, and a great debut from someone you would never expect to make such a clever, deep film.
Although the coincidences to a certain other missing child story are kind of scary, considering this was made first!
Bravo to Ben Affleck he makes it as a director. The movie as a whole is very good great characters played by Casey Affleck and Amy Ryan. With maybe 1 too many twists it all comes together, and leaves you thinking What Would Jesus Do.
