Fright Night was much better then I anticipated. Colin Farrell was great as the macho vampire with out going over the top and the humour mixed in made it very entertaining.

Didnt think this would be very good given I loved the original and well its a remake with Colin Farrell. But it was very good, Colin Farrell played the bad guy excellent and lots of humour.

The new Dreamworks/Disney teen horror comedy, Fright Night, falls into the better-than-expected category

Decent flick with a nice combo of laughs and frights, good SFX and a good remake, but the 3D is completely unnecessary and reverts to the tired old "lets stick stuff out at the audience to frighten them" schtick which nowadays just feels clumsy and jaded ... Colette mails in a cameo performance, Yelchin rehashes his flat Terminator 4/Star Trek performance, Mintz Plasse is woefully underused, Farrell plays a menacing vamp pretty well but maybe overdoes the cheese a bit in some scenes, Tennant steals the show with as foulmouthed fake magician. Overall not a bad flick.

Very enjoyable and full of laughs. Loved Colin Farrell as Gerry! Not too gorey.

Saw this at Movie Fest and thought it was great. Very tongue in cheek humour makes it the best kind of horror movie. I'm not a usually fan of horror at all, but this is an enjoyable flick with a great cast.

While I was nervous going into this as a fan of the original, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ejoyed this. Is great scary fun from start to finish with all the actors having great fun throughout. Although David Tennant steals the show as a foul mouth magician. The 3D is also amazing and is one of the best uses I have seen.
