"Body of Lies" is based on "Washington Post" columnist David Ignatius' 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris, who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. When Ferris devises a plan to infiltrate his network, he must first win the backing of cunning CIA veteran Ed Hoffman and the collegial, but perhaps suspect, head of Jordanian intelligence. Although ostensibly his allies, Ferris questions how far he can really trust these men without putting his entire operation--and his life--on the line.

Solid thriller, with a good story and great performances. Not the best thriller ever but well worth a look.

Enjoyable enough thriller, with some nice twists and turns. Dicaprio is his usual excellent self, bur Russell Crowe is strangly underused and underdeveloped, and more of him would have probably turned a 3 star into a 4 star.

The story tries not to demonise the middle-east but more show us how different the culture and outlook they have of the west. Very engaging in both story and acting.

Wasn't as good as I was expecting but still a good film. It's a good movie if you're in the mood for thinking

Not as good as the book but still enjoyable. None of the cast involved are up to their usual standard. Same goes for Ridley Scott. It feels like one they just did for the pay cheque

I liked this film. Went not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Great roles and acting by Leo and Russell (yeah im on first name basis :P). Great plot as well and all moves along at a good pace. Only minor thing was length of film. Maybe slightly long. But loved it anyway

Scott on form again. Acting was solid from its leading men and I felt the film conveyed a sense of paranoia you felt the lead character goes through. Over all very enjoyable and would recommend
