From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic fantasy adventure "Alice in Wonderland," a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. Nineteen-year-old Alice returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen's reign of terror. "Alice in Wonderland" captures the wonder of Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking-Glass" (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history.

Overall very disappointing. Underdeveloped characters and a weak storyline. Off with his head!

See this today thanks to movies.ie! LOVED IT, SO DID MY FRIEND! Alice was a very funny character with her attitude, the Queen was crazy but likable, and the animations were brilliant! Kept me glued from start to finish! Tim Burton is a legend!

I really liked the film - it was visually stunning and lived up to what I thought it would be like. The only thing I didnt really get was Johnny Depp - dont get me worng he was good as the mad hatter but he seems to be doing these wild hair & full make-up faced roles alot! After willy wonka & sweeney todd and the pirate movies I'd really just like to see him act in a 'normal' role

I really enjoyed this movie, the characters were great and the film looked like wonderland, I'd love to go there!! It was over the top at times but thats what we expect from Tim Burton. I liked Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as Alice. The cast is like a whos who!! The biggest downside is the 3-D. Its mediocre at best, and at times is quite flat. It really doesn't add to the movie. I'm looking forward to seeing this again...probably on the big screen. As an added bonus was the Q&A with the white rabbit and the dog!
