Genre: Comedy

The new comedy picks up six years after the duo's last adventure. After years of growing apart, Harold Lee and Kumar Patel have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar's door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold's house ends with the "high grade" contents-and Harold's father-in-law's prize Christmas tree- going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree almost blows Christmas Eve sky high. In 3D at select theaters.

I actually walked out of the last Harold and Kumar film. I didn't find it funny at all. And then i went to see this and was so surprised how funny it was. It's one of the funniest films I have seen all year. Sure it's big and dumb but they actually make a great Christmas film here. And Neil Patrick Harris(NPH)is hilarious. He totally steals the show. And they make great use of 3D. Nice references and nods here and there, I honestly thought this was a great Xmas movie.

The laughs may not be as strong as they were the first time, and the sense of discovering something fantastically illicit may have faded to mellow, familiar charms that come with the occasional giggle fit, but that's life as a stoner comedy.

More drugs, more laughs, more NPH, more sending up racial stereotypes. I really enjoyed it, I liked it better than the second film. I actually liked the 3D too, which almost never happens, it was so over the top and 3D stoner smoke was pointless fun. While I liked it alot myself I'm not sure this would really appeal to anyone who hadn't already seen at least one of the other two films.

A must see. The Citizen Kane of the stoner/Christmas/3D hybrid film genre!

If you're a fan of these films, they're definately for you! Perfectly done, with plenty of nods to the X Generation, as to how the weed world has crumbled to be riddled with cocaine. Very deep and meaningful stuff, really! Good fun, laugh out loud moments and NPH is just brilliant as himself! Go see it!! Total Christmas film! Also 3D penis...

If you enjoyed their previous two adventures, where they got the munchies and went to Guantanamo Bay, then you'll definitely enjoy this seasonal comedy with the likeable slacker duo of Harold and Kumar. It's completely irreverent of course but is infused with enough good will and hilarious humour to earn its badge as a Christmas movie. Despite apparently dying in the previous film, Neil Patrick Harris pops up again for an amusing cameo and even hints at a fourth film. Although, it's becoming apparent that Harold and Kumar are getting older and facing up to thirtysomething maturity (marriage, kids etc). The 3D works pretty well too and there are lots of in-jokes (I particularly liked the references to what Cho & Penn have been up to since the previous film). It's not the funniest film of the year (that would be Bridesmaids), but it's a welcome antidote to the usual slushie Christmas movies that Hollywood churns out at this time of the year.

Hilarious thid entry in the Harold and Kumar series. Some really great in jokes and the usual hilarious cameo from Neill Patrick Harris (not to mention some new 3D tricks). The only small complaint is that it is a bit short, but that could be a positive as well, as it leaves you wanting more. Bring on the fourth film.
