If you enjoy watching great actors hit rock bottom, then watch this film. Otherwise steer clear!
Not all it was cracked up to be in the pre hype
a bit disappointed with this one. i love pacino but it just seemed there wasnt much to the plot and this kind of film has been done too many times before. predictable.
Very poor over all. Terrible ending with absolutely unforgiving acting. Slowly becoming a Jon Avnet hater and I could go on but "Mart" and "DeadParrot" have said pretty much what I planned on saying.
I liked it, much better than Righteous Kill or even Pride and Glory
A lot better than the awful word that surrounded this film. Pacino is excellent in a above average and well paced thriller.
never got why would Al Pacino accepted this role!! The main problem with the movie is they did anything to make ending unpredictable but I didnt think it worked
not very interesting movie though Al Pacino is great as usual
Ok, Pacino chews the scenery again in a shouty, intense role where his main acting direction is to be al Pacino. This movie is crazy. It has so many plot holes, leaps of logic, blind twists, and stupid moments than about 3 other similar thrillers. Convicted serial killer gets interviewed on live tv? Check. Every SINGLE person, whether only in the movie for one scene is touted as a suspect? check. The cops, idiots that they are, thinking Pacino is the killer? Check Even after someone blows up his car? Check The script is laughably bad, the plot borders on ridiculous, and then jumps over that line with no remorse. The whole thing centers around a serial killer killing women the same way that serial killer on death row (jon foster) used to do it. Is Foster innocent??? dun dun dunnnnnn... Well no, we see him kill in the 1st scene of the movie. The whole thing is a mess from start to finish. Supporting actresses are basically faces with breasts who either love Pacino's character (but might be the killer) or used to love him but still kinda do (and might be the killer) I'm usually a Pacino sucker who will sit through all the usual shouty stuff from him and generally lap it up. But this ladies and gentlemen is absurd to the extreme. The only reason the killer gives Pacino 88 minutes is to act. Sadly, he doesn’t manage this. I could go on, but trust me you dont wanna know and I couldnt be arsed reliving this thing.
typical thriler, but great Al Pacino acting!
