one for the ladies
A lovely and enjoyable "chick"-flick. I usually don't like this word "chick-flick" but I am not a hundred percent sure if the majority of manly men would enjoy this movie as much as women would. At the end of the day a gorgeous looking Katherine Heigl in all kind of dresses helping all her friends with their weddings and being brightsmaid/maid of honour being confronted by a very handsome James Marsden, who slowly falls in love with Heigl's character...it really is something for us girls (maybe not all of us, and believe me I love my good share of action movies). It is definitely worth spending a Saturday night in on the couch with sweeties and your best friend and possibly also rewatching certain scenes (for example the "bridesmaid's dresses show").
Got kinda bored with this movie. Found it extremely pretdictable!
girly thing...
This wasn't too bad, considering how much I was dreading it.
funny not great
The "learn-to-look-after-yourself" point has been done better before. Heigl is good but nothing too dissimilar to her character in Grey's Anatomy sometimes. James Marsden sort of annoyed me too. It's not even HB Vanilla.
fun entertaining and enjotable to watch. good date movie
It's got rom-com written all over it. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride and so on. And yet there's some deeper part of this that's about balancing what you do for others people, with what you should do for yourself. Ultimately its a girls night in flick: sentimental with a few laughs thrown in... and lots of hideous dresses.
Not my ideal movie but i can see why people like it.
