‘Insidious’ director lines up new supernatural thriller.

THR reports that Patrick Wilson is set to reteam with his ‘Insidious’ director James Wang for the supernatural thriller ‘The Conjuring.’

The ‘Watchmen’ actor will be joined by Vera Farmiga (‘Up in the Air’), with the two playing a husband and wife team of demonologists and psychic investigators who enter the most horrifying case of their career, spirits in a Rhode Island farmhouse.

Penned by Chad and Carey Hayes (‘The Reaping,’ ‘Whiteout’), the film is inspired by the true-life story of Andrea Perron and her family. The family claimed they "lived among the dead," with both friendly and sinister spirits inhabiting their Rhode Island farmhouse in the 1970’s.
