Peter McDonald's much-praised and, hey, Oscar-nominated short Pentecost will be screened free at the IFI over the coming weeks.
One of two Irish shorts nominated for an Academy Award - the other being Terry George's The Shore - Pentecost marks actor McDonald's directorial debut.
Screening at the IFI from the 13th to the 17th and the 19th to the 26th, at 1.10pm each day, admission to this 11-minute short is free, with tickets on a first-come-first-served basis. You can argue it out at the IFI box-office. Further details on ifi.ie.
