New additions for the comic book adaptation.

Model-turned-actress Marisa Miller, James Hong (‘Big Trouble in Little China,’ ‘Blade Runner’) and Mike O’Malley (‘Glee,’ ‘Cedar Rapids’) have joined Robert Schwentke’s supernatural action comedy ‘R.I.P.D.’

‘R.I.P.D.’ follows Nick Cruz (Ryan Reynolds) and Roy Powell (Jeff Bridges), dead cops who work at the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world.

Heat Vision reports that Miller will be playing Bridges’s his human avatar, the form humans see when Bridges' character is in his earthly form, while Hong will play “Grandpa Chen,” Reynolds’ human avatar. According to Empire, O’Malley will be a ghostly character named Elliot.

Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, and Stephanie Szostak will also co-star.

Yeh I'm always skeptical when a model tries to act. I mean I'm sure there are some models who can act but so far I haven't seen one.

Big Trouble in Littel China is one of my favourite films so James Hong is a win! We'll see about Miller but I for one am looking forward to this movie!

This is sounding really good, and as for models becoming actors, they just shouldn't, they should just stick to what they know best.
