Armstrong's release stretched till 2013!

The Stretch Armstrong movie has been delayed until 2013.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the delay is due to the large number of Hasbo properties being released as films in 2012, including Battleship, Spider-Man, The Avengers and the 3D reissue of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has signed on to play title character in the movie. Owners Hasbo and Universal Pictures have hired Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller to pen the project.

Thank God, hopefully it'll keeping these roadblocks. It can be the new Halo movie aka never gonna happen. Except I think Halo movie is still the new Halo movie.

Guess Taylor Lautner needed to buff himself up more for the role.
I hope those arms stretch properly 3D style, out into the cinema audience.
