‘American Psycho’ director Mary Harron is in talks to helm an adaptation of Melissa Marr’s young adult novel ‘Wicked Lovely,’ reports THR.
The first in a series of novels, Marr’s ‘Wicked Lovely’ centers on a teenage girl who has seen faeries her entire but ends up in danger when the faeries discover her ability and the fairy king wants her for his bride.
The script for the adaptation was penned by Caroline Thompson (‘Corpse Bride,’ ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas,’ ‘Edward Scissorhands’). Vince Vaughn is on board as producer with his Wild West Picture Show Productions.
