Universal is reportedly looking to hire Jodie Foster for a role in the studio’s upcoming adaptation of Peter M. Lenkov’s Dark Horse comic ‘R.I.P.D.’
According to Bloody Disgusting, the actress is being eyed for the role of Proctor, the boss of Reynolds and Bridges’ undead cops at the Rest In Peace Department, a group of undead law enforcement officers who “patrol the deadbeat.”
The movie would reunite Foster with her ‘Flightplan’ director Robert Schwentke, who is handling directing duties on ‘R.I.P.D.’ The actress is currently in pre-production on Neil Blomkamp’s political sci-fi ‘Elysium.’
