does that mean Cruise is going to die (horribly) in the next movie?

No Ethan Hunt No MI movies... even if he is a lemonolagist

No Ethan Hunt (or whatever he's called) I agree, especially as they killed off all other characters in the first film. But I think they could find a way of having Cruise swap faces to hide his identity (Face off?) and then find a reason to keep it that way. Otherwise it'd build on an 'old friend' character that will see Cruise captured (or maybe killed) towards the end of the movie. Thus the sequal will have new guy doing his thing and maybe camoe / flashbacks to Cruise. All neatly wrapped up.

I should write the simple stuff for hollywood. It's easy... BTW lemonade anybody?

A role in this film would suit him quite well but he will indeed be a terrible replacement for Cruise.
