Carrie director liked to Paranormal Activity sequel

Brian De Palma is in talks to helm the sequel to Paranormal Activity.

The acclaimed filmmaker, whose credits include Carrie and Scarface is believed to be one of the front-runners to helm the next installment in the horror series.

Other big names linked to the project include Brad Anderso and Greg McLean (Wolf Creek).

Paranormal Activity 2 is scheduled to open in cinemas on October 2010.

he is a shit director. The Untouchables was great but Scarface is overrated and The Black Dahlia is probably the single worst film I've ever seen.

Not really but would hazard a guess that we'd both be stubborn on some things. Almost threw my drink at the cinema watching Raising Cain.

PA 1 was passable... bt a second movie is too much
