Oscar winner circles role in action thriller.
Morgan Freeman, who will next appear in the Louis Leterrier-directed ‘Now You See Me,’ is reportedly in negotiations to join Luc Besson’s action/sci-fi thriller ‘Lucy.’
Scarlett Johansson plays the titular character, a reluctant drug mule who is transformed into an ass-kicking machine when a highly-specialized narcotic enters her system. Additionally, Lucy can “absorb knowledge instantaneously, is able to move objects with her mind and can’t feel pain and other discomforts.”
According to TheWrap, Freeman is up for the role of a professor “well-versed in evolution and the capabilities of the human brain who Lucy is on a mission to find.”
