All star cast gets ready to shoot The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle
You may recall sightings of Danny Devito and his infamous foot in Dublin earlier this year (see previously : Danny Devitos Troll Foot Attacks Dublin). The comic actor was in Ireland scouting locations for an adaptation of childrens book ‘The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle’ written by Avi (Edward Irving Wotis). The book, set in the 1930s, tells the story of young Charlotte Doyle and her high seas adventures.
Today it was confirmed that both Morgan Freeman and Pierce Brosnan will join the project, so keep your autograph book handy incase you spot them around the country. The movie has been in development for some time. Originally cast with Saoirse Ronan in the lead role, she has likely outgrown the role and may be recast.
Shooting on the movie will begin in 2012
