Indie rock biopic gains seven new additions.

THR reports that Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, Mickey Sumner (‘The Borgias’), Johnny Galecki (‘The Big Bang Theory’), Steven Schub (‘24’), Evan Alex Cole (‘She’s Out of My League’), Kerry Bishé (‘Red State’) and Peter Vack (‘I Just Want My Pants Back’) are to round out the cast of the indie rock biopic ‘CBGB.’

Alan Rickman leads the cast, playing Hilly Kristal, the owner and founder of the seminal New York City punk venue ‘CBGB,’ with the film following the club’s impact on the underground music scene, highlighting artists like Talking Heads, the Ramones, and Blondie.

Hawkins is attached play rock icon Iggy Pop; Sumner will portray Patti Smith, with Galecki playing band manager Terry Ork. Schub is to play DeeDee Ramone; Cole takes the role of Richard Hell; Peter Vack as Legs McNeil, and Bishé is playing Mary Harron.
