Young actress to lead indie.
Kara Hayward, best known for her role as Suzy Bishop in Wes Anderson’s ‘Moonrise Kingdom,’ is set to star in Noah Pritzker’s indie ‘Quitters,’ reports Deadline.
The 14-year-old actress will play Etta, a high school freshman dealing with the fallout from her parents’ divorce.
Filming is underway in San Francisco with Mira Sorvino (‘Perfect Sisters’), Greg Germann (‘Here Comes The Boom’), Morgan Turner (‘The Sisterhood of Night’), and Benjamin Konigsberg also starring.
Ben Howe (‘The Exploding Girl’) and Luca Borghese (‘Rampart’) are producing.
