THR is reporting that ‘Arrested Development’ creator Mitch Hurwitz is set to make his big screen directorial debut with a comedy feature entitled ‘Guinea Pigging.’
With Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant (‘Reno 911!,’ ‘Hell Baby’) on board to provide the script, the film is based on a 2008 New Yorker article by Carl Elliott, the film is described as a “sophisticated comedy about a human drug-test subject who volunteers for testing at a pharmaceutical company and experiences unusual side effects.”
Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and David Ready will produce, along with Peter Principato of Principato Young Entertainment and Conde Nast Entertainment’s Jeremy Steckler.
