Paula Wagner to produce movie adaptation of West End musical Miss Saigon
Paula Wagner is planning to produce a movie adaptation of West End musical Miss Saigon.
Based before the fall of Saigon in 1975, Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil’s play tells the tragic tale of a Vietnamese bar girl and an American soldier. It opened in the West End in 1989 and was also on Broadway for ten years.
Lee Daniels is being lined up to direct the project, which is expected in cinemas in 2011.
