Thriller to shoot early 2014…
‘V for Vendetta’ and ‘The Raven’ director James McTeigue has signed up to direct Milla Jovovich (‘Resident Evil’), Emma Thompson (‘Saving Mr. Banks’), Pierce Brosnan (‘Love Is All You Need’), and Angela Bassett (‘Black Nativity’) in the Phil Shelby-scripted thriller ‘Survivor.’
Deadline’s Mike Fleming has Jovovich leading the cast, playing “a State Department employee newly posted to the American embassy in London where she is charged with stopping terrorists from getting into the U.S. That puts her right in the line of fire and she is targeted for death and framed for crimes she did not commit. Discredited, she is forced to go on the run while she tries to clear her name and stop a large-scale terrorist attack set for New Year’s Eve in Gotham’s Times Square.”
Principal photography is scheduled to begin January 20th in London with Charles Winkler and Irwin Winkler on board to produce.
