Prince of Persia helmer circles The Lone Ranger
Jerry Bruckheimer and Walt Disney Pictures have reportedly found their director for the big screen return of The Lone Ranger.
Sources report that Mike Newell, who is currently working on Prince of Persia for Bruckheimer, will direct Lone Ranger.
If true, it would reunite Newell with his Donnie Brasco leading man Johnny Depp, who is set to play Tonto.
Pirates of the Caribbean screenwriters Terry Rossio & Ted Elliott penned thescreenplay.
