Mighty Mouse is flying to the big screen
Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies are looking to bring Mighty Mouse to the big screen.
The studio is currently looking for a new writer and director in hopes of moving the long-gestating project forward. Brian and Mark Gunn previously worked on the script.
Paramount is hoping to replicate the success of the Alvin And The Chipmunks movies with Mighty Mouse.
The character originated in a 1940s comic book that satirised Superman. A cartoon series was later launched and ran from the 1950s to 1980s.
