Two new contenders for the role of the villain in ‘Superman’ reboot.
With Viggo Mortensen officially ouf of the running for the role of the villain in Zack Snyder’s ‘Superman: Man of Steel,’ it seems we might have some new contenders.
Michael Shannon (‘Boardwalk Empire,’ ‘The Runaways’) and Edgar Ramirez (‘The Bourne Ultimatum’) are both said to be up for the role of villain. Exactly which villain the movie will feature is currently unknown.
At the moment, the cast of ‘Superman: Man of Steel’ includes Henry Cavill as Superman, with Diane Lane and Kevin Costner portraying his adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent.
