Variety is hearing that Michael Mann (‘Public Enemies,’ ‘Miami Vice,’ ‘Heat’) has signed on to direct an untitled thriller with Chris Hemsworth (‘Avengers Assemble,’ ‘Cabin in the Woods’) attached to star.
Scripted by Mann and Morgan Davis Foehl, the storyline is said to revolve around cyber-terrorism.
Mann will also serve as producer alongside Thomas Tull, and Jon Jashni of Legendary Pictures. Legendary’s Alex Garcia will executive produce.
