Michael Grandage’s GENIUS Adds Guy Pearce and Dominic West

Indie drama fills out two more rolls…

Guy Pearce (‘The Rover’) and Dominic West (‘The Wire’) have become the latest additions to the cast of theatre director Michael Grandage’s feature debut ‘Genius.’

Starring Colin Firth, Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Laura Linney, the indie drama is based on A. Scott Berg’s award-winning biography and focuses on the relationship between literary giant Thomas Wolfe (Law) and his long-time editor Max Perkins (Firth).

Pearce will play ‘The Great Gatsby’ author F. Scott Fitzgerald, while West will take the role of ‘The Sun Also Rises’ and ‘A Farewell To Arms’ author Ernest Hemingway.

The script for the film was penned by John Logan (‘Penny Dreadful,’ ‘Skyfall,’ ‘The Last Samurai’), with Tim Bevan (Les Miserables, Atonement) serving as executive producer alongside producers James Bierman, and Grandage. Production begins next month in the U.K.
