Michael B. Jordan Joins Biblical Drama METHUSELAH

Michael B. Jordan (‘Creed,’ ‘Black Panther’) has signed on to produce and star in ‘Methuselah,’ a fantasy epic that has Tony Gilroy on board to shape the script.

The biblical drama centres on Methuselah, the grandfather of Noah who lived for “almost 1,000 years without ageing, all while developing a set of unparalleled survival skills.”

Long in development, the project attracted the likes of Will Smith and Tom Cruise over the years, with Joachim Rønning (‘Kon Tiki,’ ‘Pirates of The Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge’) attached to direct. The filmmaker stepped away, moving on to take the helm for Disney’s ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.’

Jordan will produce ‘Methuselah’ through his Outlier Society banner along with David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films.
