Matthew McConaughey Eyes THE COMPANY MAN

‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star circling Black List drama…

Matthew McConaughey (‘Dallas Buyers Club,’ ‘True Detective’) has reportedly entered into talks for a role in the ‘The Company Man.’

Penned by Andrew Cypiot, the Black List script is based on true events and centres on Edwin Wilson, a CIA agent who went behind enemy lines to secure weapons contracts and report information back to the CIA shortly after the Cold War. Wilson had a meteoric rise until company policies changed and he was unceremoniously fired. However, he continued to operate as a man without a country and became public enemy number one in the U.S. Attorney’s office.

The project is currently without a director. Mark Sourian and Josh Kazdan are on board to produce.

McConaughey will next be seen heading up the cast of Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi ‘Interstellar’ when it arrives in Irish cinemas November 7th.
