Tennant to play the villainous Zebediah Killgrave…
Former ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘ Broadchurch’ star David Tennant has joined the cast of ‘A.K.A. Jessica Jones,’ Marvel’s 13-episode series premiering on Netflix in 2015 following ‘Daredevil.’
Krysten Ritter (‘Big Eyes,’ ‘Veronica Mars’) leads the series, playing the titular character who, after a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City. Mike Colter also stars, playing Luke Cage.
Tennant will play Zebediah Killgrave (The Purple Man), an enigmatic figure from Jessica’s past whose reappearance will send shockwaves through the former super hero’s world
