Studio considers spin-off series.
Word has emerged that Marvel’s TV division is looking to develop a live-action drama series that would explore the mythology of the studio’s cinematic universe on the small screen.
According to Deadline, Marvel is in talks with ABC for the project which will be light in connection to the ‘Avengers Assemble’ franchise but “set in the universe and feature some of its themes and feel, but may not include” characters from Joss Whedon’s record-breaking blockbuster.
One possible scenario being explored is that of a “high-concept cop show.”
Could we be seeing the Marvel One-Shot series developed into a full blown TV series that will focus the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
