Dujardin joins true life drama.

Variety has word that Jean Dujardin of ‘The Artist’ is in talks for a role in Martin Scorsese‘s adaptation of Jordan Belfort‘s memoir ‘The Wolf of Wall Street.’

With a screenplay by Terence Winter (‘Boardwalk Empire’), the film will chronicle Belfort’s rise and fall on Wall Street, along with his hard-partying lifestyle and tumultuous personal life. Leonardo DiCaprio is heading up the cast with Jonah Hill and Kyle Chandler also attached to star.

The trade reports that Dujardin is circling the role of Jean-Jacques Handali, a suave Swiss banker involved in laundering illicit funds for Belfort’s firm.
