Wahlberg may be headed for new comedy.
Variety reports that Mark Wahlberg has signed on to produce and possibly star in the action comedy, ‘Bait and Switch.’ Details of the plot have yet to be revealed.
Universal bought the spec script from newcomer Matthew J. O’Neill as a possible starring vehicle for ‘The Fighter’ star.
The actor is currently is the midst of shooting Seth MacFarlane’s R-rated comedy ‘Ted’ with Mila Kunis. Walhberg plays a man-child haunted and bullied by his talking teddy bear.
