Watchmen’s Malin Akerman replaces Lindsay Lohan in porn biopic Inferno
Watchmen star Malin Akerman has replaced Lindsay Lohan in porn biopic Inferno.
Akerman will take on the role of Linda Lovelace, which was previous linked to Lohan. Lohan’s ongoing treatment at the Betty Ford Centre forced her to leave the project.
Speaking of Lohan’s departure, writer-director Matthew Wilder commented: “We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her – and some other issues – have made it impossible for us to go forward.”
Inferno will be based on the novel Ordeal: An Autobiography by Lovelace and Mike McGrady
