Jeffrey Katzenberg Confirms ‘Madagascar 3’
Jeffrey Katzenberg has confirmed a third Madagascar movie is in the works.
Speaking to press while promoinge The Penguins of Madagascar, the upcoming Nickelodeon animated series spinoff to the film, Katzenberg confirmed the sequel stating:
“Yes, we are making a Madagascar 3 now, and it will be out in the summer of 2012.”
Katzenberg said that DreamWorks Animation was very happy with the performance of “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa,” which has made over $500 million dollars worldwide at the box office.
